Preston Jones’ philosophy is, the only thing every person has in common is being alive. Although he has no formal background in the arts community, this philosophy has sparked his avid interest in Chicago’s thriving arts scene.

As the co-founder and director of operations of Canvas Chicago—a community of event producers, entrepreneurs and artists who design within a sustainable creative environment—Preston has taken the idea of networking to a whole new level. Known for throwing the most extravagant parties during his time at Loyola University, Preston took his love of good times and promotion to new levels through Canvas.
